U.S. Surgeon General Assisted in Medical Emergency on Delta Flight: Yesterday on a Delta flight from Atlanta, Georgia to Jackson, Mississippi, a passenger was experiencing a medical emergency. Luckily, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams was on board to help. Adams posted a tweet about the incident, “On my @Delta flight to Jackson, Mississippi (by way of Atlanta), and they asked if there was a Doctor on board to help with a medical emergency — why yes — yes there was. Patient doing well and like a good #USPHS officer, I was glad to be able to assist!”
Hawaii’s Economy Takes a Hit After Volcano Eruption: The eruption of the Kilauea volcano is having a negative impact on Hawaii’s tourism industry. According to the Hawaii Visitors Bureau, lodging and tour bookings are down for the May-July period. The volcano has also taken a toll on the air quality, which is currently placed under “red” conditions. The Hawaii County Civil Defense agency says that condition means an “immediate danger to health” and “severe conditions may exist such as choking and inability to breathe.”

A prisoner posted a video of the riot and said, “This has been taken over peacefully by all the political prisoners and all the prisoners who are abducted here, who are tortured daily.”
