Tamera Mowry-Housley wasted no time hitting back at a fan who claimed to be sick and tired of hearing about her husband.
The actress shared on “The Real”Thursday a story of how she continued to call her now-husband, Adam Housley when they briefly split up during their courtship. For a short period after their one-year breakup, she stayed with her twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict.
“I used to call Adam all the time,” she explained on the talk show May 10. “And Tia, she would be like, ‘Who you talkin’ to?'”
While the studio audience found the story entertaining, an Instagram user by the name of @honeeydoll was over it.
“If I have to hear about Adam one more time on this show 😡,” she wrote. “The clout that she gives this man blows my mind.”
Mowry-Housely didn’t sit back and take the diss, however. She responded by saying, “Awww I pray one day you get a LOVE of your life one day! WHY you mad boo.”
Yet the back-and-forth didn’t stop there. @Honeeydoll fired back, calling the actress “a lame” and wondered why she continued to hear “useless information about your husband such as what he likes to do and eat rather [than] talk about yourself.”
“And YOU getting mad at me for being REAL on the REAL? Please,” she concluded.
In response, Mowry-Housely then rattled off a list of her accomplishments proving that she is indeed not a lame due to her three NAACP Image awards and recently-nabbed Daytime Emmy award.
“I’ll let you know that people are fine with me talking about the LOVE of my life. Again. You mad or Nah? Enjoy your man while I enjoy the LOVE of my life. Oh, and THANKS FOR WATCHING ☺,” she concluded.
But that wasn’t the end of it. @Honeeydoll returned to dig up old bones about axed “The Real” co-host Tamar Braxton. She urged the HGTV star to discuss why Braxton was fired back in 2016. However, Mowry-Housley shut it down.
It appears many fans had Mowry-Housley’s back, too as several applauded her clapback.
“Gather her up darling and get her together,” another wrote. “I love how you’re [poised] and elegant but will set ’em straight if you have too.😘”
“Amen,” another simply commented.
“Tamera, I think it is wonderful you talk positively about your husband and children,” someone else said. “It is uplifting and inspiring for people to see. I just think some people just get jealous and are miserable in their own lives. I love to see people happy.”
