Actor and singer Jamie Foxx has a new online talk show called”Off Script” where he chops it up with Hollywood’s hottest celebrities. The eight-part series will air on Group Nine Media’s Thrillist. Each segment will run about 8-minutes and will feature high-profile celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Jeremy Renner and Sara Silverman. In his first episode set to premiere Friday, he caught up with “Black Panther” himself Chadwick Boseman.
Boseman discussed the international impact of “Black Panther,” how to speak Wakandian, and his boxing skills.
Boseman told Foxx about how reassuring it is to see the international sales for “Black Panther.” “That’s the part where I feel a sense of fulfillment, usually I don’t care about what the numbers are,” he said.
He added that in the past studios have told him, “we can’t put your picture on the international poster because that doesn’t work overseas.” He then said, “To see the international numbers along with the domestic numbers and they’re almost the same, that was the thing for me that made me think “Aha!.”
The “Black Panther” season isn’t over. Many people attribute “The Avengers: Infinity War” outstanding sales to the initial success of BP.
