The ex-husband of actress Sherri Shepherd got more custody of their 12-year-old son in December but he wants more money, too.
Jeff Tarpley, whose nine-year marriage to Shepherd came to an end in 2010, had filed to get 50/50 custody of young Jeffrey in September, according to The Blast. Documents obtained by the website recently reveal he got more custody after a December ruling.
Now, he has Jeffrey every first, third and fifth weekend of each month and on Tuesdays and Thursday. He also gets custody of his son when Shepherd, who stars on “Trial and Error,” is out of town.
But that’s not all. Tarpley wants an increase in the $131 child support payments Shepherd doles out each month. In the documents, he points out the discrepancy between his ex-wife’s $1.2 million annual income and his monthly income of $2,400.
Additionally, Tarpley wants the comedian to foot the bill for his $25,600 in attorney’s fees.
His requests will be put out on the table during a May hearing.
