Parkland Student David Hogg to Laura Ingraham: Where’s LeBron James’ Apology?

Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg and Laura Ingraham of “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News are still going at it. Ingraham is on a week long vacation from her show that comes on the heels of numerous advertisers jumping ship following her criticism of the Parkland students and specifically Hogg. She’s since apologized to Hogg and the students for her comments but Hogg isn’t buying it and wants to know where’s Lebron James’ apology.

Ingraham mocked Hogg about not being able to get into colleges he applied to. She tweeted, “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.)”

Following the tweet, Hogg responded by listing the top advertisers of the “Ingraham Angle” and it worked. More than a dozen advertisers have since bid adieu to the program.

During an interview with CNN on Saturday, Hogg said plainly, “A bully is a bully and it’s important that you stand up to them.” He continued, “She’s tried calling out people at Dartmouth University for their sexual orientation and she told Lebron James to shut up and dribble. I don’t see any apology for those people.” In February Ingraham urged James to “shut and dribble” after the NBA star criticized the president.

Hogg added, “It’s really sad, it’s disturbing to know that somebody can bully so many people and just get away with it, especially to the level that she did,” he said. “I think now with advertisers standing with us, we can accomplish anything.”

Ingraham’s apology was swift, “Any student should be proud of a 4.2 GPA.” She continued, “in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland.”

However, Hogg was not convinced. “I 100% agree an apology in an effort just to save your advertisers is not enough,” he tweeted. “I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I in this fight. It’s time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children”
