It’s way BIGGER than basketball. We are the voices for the people that don’t get to be heard. Joaquin Oliver may you Rest In Peace and i dedicate my return and the rest of this Miami Heat season to you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat tweets out a heartfelt message to Joaquin Oliver, a fan and one of the students killed in Florida school shooting massacre.
Oliver’s parents told Univision talk show “Al Punto” on Sunday that their son was a fan of Wade and sports. Because of his love for the sport, the 17-year-old was buried wearing Wade’s Miami Heat Jersey. “It’s emotional even thinking about that — that his parents felt that burying him in my jersey was something that he wanted,” Wade told CNN affiliate WPLG.
“You hurt for the family. If you ever get the opportunity to speak to them, you just try to hope the time where he was alive, that you were able to bring some form of joy to his life and something memorable.”
Dwayne then dedicated his return to Miami and the season to Oliver. He tweeted, “It’s way BIGGER than basketball. We are the voices for the people that don’t get to be heard. Joaquin Oliver may you Rest In Peace and i dedicate my return and the rest of this Miami Heat season to you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾”
