As Omarosa Manigault Newman continues to dish the White House dirt on “Celebrity Big Brother,” British journalist Piers Morgan is sharing his own dirt about the former Donald Trump aide.
In a Tuesday, Feb. 13 op-ed for The Daily Mail, Morgan describes several encounters with Newman during their time on “Celebrity Apprentice,” and said he’s “never met anyone quite so relentlessly loathsome as Omarosa; a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work.”
“What the hell was she doing inside the world’s most powerful building for 12 months?” he asks of her time as part of Donald Trump’s administration. “The answer, as we can now see, was amassing a whole mass of damaging information to now use against President Trump and his administration on ‘Celebrity Big Brother.'”
Omarosa has spoken out about the White House agenda on CBB. She said Vice President Pence is “extreme” and that Trump is readying “aggressive” crackdowns on immigration.”
But in Morgan’s article, he says she took aim at him during the 2008 inaugural season of the Trump-hosted show. One major accusation Omarosa continued to throw Morgan’s way, according to him, was that he was gay. Morgan said that wasn’t true and that she had said so just because he rejected her advances.
“Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously: ‘Piers, do you want a showmance?’ ‘A what?’ I replied. ‘A showmance. You know, a romance on the show — we get it on together. Happens all the time on ‘The Apprentice.’ Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it.’ I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed: ‘You must be joking, you deluded woman.’ She didn’t take it well. ‘What are you? Gay?'”
It was downhill from there, Morgan said.
He also claimed she accused him of being homosexual to “provoke me into a confrontation.”
But Morgan’s sexuality apparently wasn’t the only thing Newman zeroed in on. Morgan was separated from his ex-wife and the mother of his three children and the famous reality show villain allegedly told the journo, “The mother of your children hates you Piers … and your children f—— hate you, they’re embarrassed by you. Is there another man raising your children?”
Morgan added he wasn’t surprised about how things turned out when Newman was the director of communications for the Public Liaison Office.
“Her tenure went exactly how I expected,” he said of Newman’s firing. “Omarosa achieved nothing but incessant chaos, upsetting all her White House co-workers, and picking fights wherever she went in a manner that was entirely unsurprising to anyone who had met her or watched her on TV.”
Omarosa has not responded to Morgan’s statements.
