Why Wanda Sykes Would Accept an Invite to the White House if She Were an Eagles Player

As some Philadelphia Eagles players have declared they won’t make a traditional White House visit, Wanda Sykes is saying something different. The comedian admits that unlike the first-time Super Bowl LLI champions, she’d go see President Donald Trump if she were part of the team.

“Honestly, I would go,” Sykes says on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Tuesday, Feb. 6. “I would go and I would show up with moving boxes and a U-Haul. It’d be like, [motions toward the back] ‘Let’s go! Time to go!’”

When asked if she had any positive thoughts about the president, Sykes turned her attention to first lady Melania Trump.

“You know, that Melania, she doesn’t seem to bad,” she says. “She doesn’t seem too bad.”
