Ne-Yo stopped by the Blast and answered questions about Justin Timberlake’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance. Ne-Yo says he is excited about the performance and thinks that Justin should do some classics and “sprinkle the new stuff in.” Then the reporter asks him if Justin and Janet Jackson should perform the halftime show together. Ne-Yo says that “he would.”
Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performed at the Super Bowl halftime together once before when the infamous wardrobe malfunction happened where Timberlake accidentally exposed Janet’s breast. Since then there were speculations of a beef between the two. Recently when Timberlake sat down with ‘Beats 1 Radio’ they asked if he and Janet made peace and he responded “Absolutely. Yeah. And … I don’t know that a lot of people know that.” Many believe that if everything is really squashed between the two they should be able to perform together again.
Clearly, Ne-Yo feels the same way. Ne-Yo said “I would.. just to show that there’s no drama. I think it’d be nostalgic.”
