Much like Kevin Hart last year, Ray J has now been accused of cheating on his pregnant wife. The “Sexy Can I” singer was caught on an Instagram Live video earlier this week in the bathroom where two women appeared to be present in the background. Neither were Princess Love, his wife and mother of their first child.
Now, fans have been speculating that the couple is no longer an item after Love posted cryptic Instagram messages and tweets.
“If you’re going to stay with a man, do it because that’s what you truly want,” she tweeted Tuesday before deleting the post. “Never stay because of children. When they grow up, then what???’
The next day she tweeted, “Your hardest times often lead to greatest moments in your life. It will all be worth it in the end.”
Her Instagram featured several similar messages and also included posts and comments indicating Ray J hadn’t been home much.
Enter Sonja Norwood. The mother of the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star and his sister Brandy posted a now-deleted IG memo Tuesday.
Captured by @teatenders_liv, Norwood wrote in part, “False accusations in a public forum deserves a public apology.”
But it appears Ray J didn’t necessarily need his mother’s help. He posted a public prayer to himself Tuesday, which encouraged him to stay above the negativity.
“God is in control of everything Ray,” he wrote. “Don’t let this negative energy get to you, Ray. You are doing everything right. From being faithful [to] staying focused on the goal and treating everyone with respect and love.”
