Mom of Young H&M Model At Center of Controversy Reportedly Has No Issues with ‘Coolest Monkey’ Hoodie

While celebrities and everyday people alike are riled up over H&M’s hoodie controversy, at least one person is unbothered. The apparent mother of the boy at the center of the storm, Terry Mango, has said she sees no issue with the Black boy wearing a hoddie saying, “Coolest Monkey In the Jungle.”

“[I] am the mum and this is one of [the] hundreds of outfits my son has modeled,” the alleged mom wrote in a Facebook comment. “Stop crying wolf all the time.”

In another comment, she wrote, “that’s my son. [I have] been to all the photoshoots and this was not an exception.”

But while she has no problems with it, many others do. Nicki Minaj pulled her support from the company with which she had a holiday collection by deleting all Instagram posts that mention H&M, according to Yahoo. And rapper G-Eazy has also severed ties.

The public also has issues with Mango’s lack of concern.

Still, others felt if the mom was cool with it, then folks should move on.
