Rep. Maxine Waters’ Poem About Trump Officials Being Sent to Jail Is Pure Gold

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., tweeted a poetic ode to the jailing of Donald Trump officials. In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Waters, affectionally known as Auntie Maxine, encouraged Mueller to “stay strong” and called Trump’s administration “The Kremlin Klan.”

Special counsel Robert Mueller is heading a team investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. On Wednesday, Jan. 3, The New York Times reported that Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, sued Mueller and requested a federal court to restrict the special counsel’s authority.

But many Trump backers took issue with Waters’ poem of support to Mueller.
