After Wendy Williams called out Da Brat’s legal battle over an assault on her Friday, Dec. 8 show, the rapper had a surprising response. Rather than getting down and dirty with the talk show host, she simply explained herself and kept things classy.
It turns out Da Brat still owes a total of $7.8 million after being found guilty of hitting a woman in the face with a bottle in 2007. Williams claimed Da Brat couldn’t afford to pay the sum on the MC’s “Dish Nation” salary. Or, if she could, she’d need to call in some favors from a few of her famous pals.
