After multiple epileptic seizures forced him to cancel concerts and head to the hospital, Lil Wayne has been discharged and ordered to rest for two weeks.

Beginning Friday, the rapper had performed nightly shows over the weekend before falling ill after a concert on Sunday, Sept. 3, according to TMZ.

Despite his appreciation for the sizzurp, sources told the website it wasn’t lean that caused Wayne’s health scare. Instead, it was his lack of sleep, late-night studio sessions and post-show partying that did him in.

On Monday, Sept. 4, Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter, tweeted about her father’s progress.

She also seemed to shut down speculation that the rapper’s seizures stemmed from Wayne sipping the double-cupped beverage.

After canceling his Labor Day performance with rapper T.I. in Las Vegas, Wayne is expected to appear at WAMO Fest in Pittsburgh, Pa., Sept. 23.
