Actress Aisha Tyler was ordered to pay her ex-husband a total of $2 million over the course of four years, leading some Twitter users to take issue.
Jeff Tietjens filed for divorce last year and TMZ reported the terms of their divorce settlement state Tyler must pay Tietjens $31,250 in spousal support each month for the next four years. The “Criminal Minds” actress also must pay Tietjens $500,000, amounting to a total of $2 million.
Tyler and Tietjens wed in 1992 after dating at Dartmouth College. Tyler, who is a co-host of “The Talk,” will retain control of her companies BTDO Media and Hot Machine, while Tietjens gets half of the income the couple made after selling their home. They each get one of their luxury vehicles: Tietjens gets the 2012 Lexus and Tyler gets the 2013 Tesla.
