The cast of “Martin” attended castmate Tommy Ford’s funeral Wednesday following the 52-year-old actor’s death last week.

Tichina Arnold, who played Pam on the 1990s sitcom, posted a photo on Instagram at the service. The picture shows her with fellow cast members Tisha Campbell-Martin and Carl Payne  – known as Gina and Cole, respectively, on the hit series.

“Today was not easy,” Arnold’s post began. “But by the grace of God we all got through it. Words cannot express our gratitude for all of your prayers, positive thoughts and support for us throughout the years. Tommy will be missed but most certainly never forgotten.”

Additionally, Arnold mentioned that Martin Lawrence – who played the sitcom’s title character – also paid his respects. However, he was not pictured.

Payne also shared Arnold’s photo on his Instagram account, echoing her sentiments of the uneasy day.

“We laid our brother to rest. However, through God’s grace and the love, support and prayers of friends, family and loved ones, all is well,” Payne wrote. “Remember and celebrate the man who brought so much joy and laughter to our lives…Tommy Ford.”

Ford died on Oct. 12 after his family removed him from life support. The actor and motivational speaker received knee replacement surgery Sept. 28. Vibe speculated complications may have led to an aneurysm rupturing in his abdomen. Once news of Ford’s passing spread, many Black celebrities gave their condolences online.

Aside from his work on “Martin,” Ford appeared in other Black sitcoms including “The Jamie Foxx Show” and had a recurring role on “The Parkers.” He also had several releases slated for this year, including a short film called Wounded, according to Internet Movie Database.

On Instagram, Ford expressed excitement about recovering from surgery ahead of his sudden hospitalization. He documented his physical therapy sessions, writing “My progress is amazing! Thank you for all of your prayers and words of encouragement!”

He is survived by his reported partner, Gina, and his three children.
