Nicki Minaj Blasts Kanye’s Interracial Dating Lyrics, Insecure Men and Denies Criticizing Melania

Nicki Minaj is clearing the air about blasting Kanye West’s interracial dating lyrics along with whispers she dissed Melania Trump.

During her performance at Tidal X Oct. 16, the MC paused her set to challenge insecure men who can’t handle powerful women.

“You n—– are so f—— weak,” Minaj said. “Y’all got the audacity to be intimidated by the bad motherf—— queen and get your motherf—– feelings hurt.”

Then, her criticism of Trump came up as she praised Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton.

“Barack [Obama] needed Michelle,” Minaj continued. “And Bill needed a motherf—— Hillary. You better pray to God you don’t get stuck with a motherf—— Melania. You n—– want brainless b——? To stroke your motherf—— egos? Well, f— you, n—–!”

Some fans saw the statement as Minaj taking a dig at Melania Trump. But Minaj insisted she wasn’t “dragging” the wife of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“She seems nice,” the rapper tweeted. “But a smart man know he needs a certain ‘kind’ of woman when running for president/attempting greatness.”

However, another recent remark also landed Minaj in hot water. In her Marie Claire interview – where she previously discussed the biased treatment of Black women compared to white women in Hollywood – she talked about Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” lyrics.

The 2005 Billboard Hot 100 top hit contains a line describing a Black man leaving his Black girlfriend for a white woman once he attains success.

“I’m so tired of Black women feeling that when our men get rich,” she explained to the publication, “they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race. It wasn’t funny when Kanye said, ‘When he get on, he’ll leave your a– for a white girl’ — and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the f—— truth.”

But Minaj said the magazine took her words out of context.

“I said he wasn’t kidding, he was speaking the truth about the industry,” she tweeted.

“I was saying he’s the one who said it first,” she continued in another post after a fan praised her for supporting West. “He doesn’t apologize for his choices.”
