Mary J. Blige’s divorce from estranged husband and former manager Kendu Isaacs is getting pricey. The singer’s ex spouse believes he is entitled to a hefty spousal support check each month.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Isaacs said he is used to living in luxury due to Blige’s salary. He also pointed out the singer brought home the majority of their income. During the last two years of their 12-year marriage, he said Blige’s income ranged from $1.5 to $5.1 million.

Since the singer fired Isaacs as her long-time manager once the divorce came, he said he has no income. Because of this, he is asking for $129,319 in monthly alimony.

But Blige said a prenuptial agreement made two days before the couple wed in 2003 lists what each of the parties should receive. In September, her lawyer Gary Fishbein filed papers to get a judge’s seal on the prenup. But Isaac’s attorney called it “immensely invalid, unenforceable and unconscionable.”

Presently, Isaacs deemed the prenup counterfeit since he signed it sans a legal team. Additionally, he asserts that Blige knows the prenup was flawed based on the two checks she handed to him previously for a combined $85,000.

Isaacs’ newest filing follows his response to Blige’s request for a divorce. Last month, Atlanta Black Star reported Isaacs requested alimony as well as a requirement that the singer pays his lawyer’s fees.

In the meantime, Blige has used the divorce as inspiration on her newest single, “Thick of It.” During a radio interview with WDAS Oct. 6, the star explained she penned the tune with Jazmine Sullivan to deal with the separation.

“If you know me, you know what I’m dealing with right now,”  she said. “The ‘Thick of It’ is the divorce and all this stuff that’s going on right now. It’s the heaviness of it and the whole thing…That’s where I am. I’m in the middle of a divorce and it doesn’t feel good. It feels terrible, but I have strength to get through and I get through by any means necessary.”
