The name “Ivy Park” seems to be Blue Ivy, as well as a park the singer visited growing up. A video accompanying today’s announcement depicts Beyonce working out in various ways and mixes in home video of the Grammy-winner with she and her sister Solange as children. There are references to Parkwood, the park where she ran with her dad as a child. The singer is heard explaining mental visits to the park whenever she’s about to perform. “Ivy Park” will be available April 14 at Topshop.com, Nordstrom.com and Zalando.com, The Huffington Post reports.
The BeyHive has another reason to be excited today as a rumored tracklist has been unveiled on Twitter. The photo posted by Queen Will claims the album will be titled “Formation” after Beyoncé’s latest single and includes features from Adele, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Mariah Carey and Frank Ocean. It will be a combination of pop, R&B and hip-hop and is set to be released on Tidal – husband Jay Z’s music streaming service – April 1 before being released everywhere Friday, April 3.
