With all due respect, I think Mr. Farrakhan is an enlightened soul, but using words like 'cracker' totally discredits his inspirational message. His words become like those of a well-researched tabloid article. When is he going to learn? But this has been the problem of NOI it appears. The divinely beautiful contribution it has had for our brothers and sisters has always been tarnished by use of inflammatory language, starting with its founding father. That is why Malcolm X is a bigger man to have ever come out that organization, because he grew and allowed the people to grow with him. At the time of his assassination, his views about the religion and other things were in transition. Should he have lived, he would have been able to transform black America in an unprecedented way. Something Farrakhan will never accomplish because he is stuck in his ways, yet wants to be portrayed as a leader. Having said that, my favorite Farrakhan moments are when he recites history because he is so good at that.

Minister Farrakhan is a soon-to-be 82 year old Black man who has spent the overwhelming majority of his life dedicated to his people. He has been at this work since he was 23 years old. That means, while others spent their free time partying, having fun, and doing whatever, he dedicated his life by being in the streets, prisons, and alleys teaching Black people. He has seen what has happened to his people by the hands of white people and GOD DAMMIT he's tired. To hell with diplomacy and diplomatic language.

We've been in this country for 395 years and we're still struggling for the same exact things our ancestors struggled for.
