Gabrielle Union stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show last evening and chatted about her wedding plans to fiance Dwyane Wade and the need for a prenup.
The “Being Mary Jane” star was previously married to retired NFL player Chris Howard and declared that her second time down the aisle will come with some changes.
“The biggest difference between this and the last marriage,” Union says, “will be a prenup … at my insistence. When you have your own stuff, you don’t need to worry about anyone else’s stuff. So everyone should go into the relationship knowing, I’m here for you and you’re here for me.’ And the reality is I’ve never seen Dwyane balance a checkbook. So I gotta protect my stuff.”
Union also revealed the wedding won’t include bridesmaids or groomsmen. Additionally, the couple decided to trim their guest list to include only guests who have their collective interests at heart.
