Major Lazer and Pharrell debuted the full version of their recent collaboration “Aerosol Can” today, after previously previewing earlier this month during a performance at “Holy Ship!“. The Major Lazer and Pharrell collaboration is one of five new songs that will be featured on Major Lazer’s upcoming EP Apocalypse Soon.
As reported by consequenceofsound.net:
“Earlier this month, Pharrell previewed his collaboration with Major Lazer aboard the Holy Ship! festival cruise. Now, the full version of the track, dubbed “Aerosol Can”, has surfaced online (via Miss Info).
“The multi-Grammy Award winner drops effortless rhymes (“Aerosol can bumbum bumbum / monkey outside bumbum bumbum / shootin’ all night bumbum bumbum”) over a simple-yet-danceable rhythm of bubbling pops and drum snaps.”
Pharrell shows his international music prowess by making references to reggae legend Eek A Mouse and sound system Black Chiney.
Apocalypse Soon EP is scheduled to be released on Feb. 25, and aside from Pharrell, major acts like Sean Paul and Machel Montano are set to be on the Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jllionaire produced record.
