Couples Therapy Season 4 Episode 5 Player for Life

“Couples Therapy” season 4, episode 5: “Player for Life” premieres tonight on VH1.

In this episode of “Couples Therapy,” the couples discuss their sex lives in group therapy, and how issues in the bedroom can be telling about their emotional relationships as well. This particular subject was hard to talk about for Jon, who was caught by Liz when he was trying to masturbate.

It was also a difficult subject for Sada and Whitney to talk about, because Whitney feels too much like Sada’s mother, which sets Sada off. After fighting over their relationship, and if it is even going to work out, Dr. Jenn brings Sada and Whitney in for an insightful therapy session. Dr. Jenn discovers Sada was raised in a household with a lot of turmoil, which she clearly brings into her relationship with Whitney.

In a therapy session, Ghost tells Kelsey that he has another woman on the side that he cares for, and wants to bring her into therapy for a session with Kelsey. This infuriates Kelsey, who is confused and torn, and the two continue to fight, but Kelsey is the one to get the last laugh.

Due to her recent troubles regarding her sex life, Farrah finds it difficult to open up about sex in group therapy.

Here’s VH1′s description of the show:

“Relationships are hard enough, but imagine the pressure of having your hook-ups, “bumps” on the relationship road and breakups as fodder for the tabloids. More and more, it seems couples whose matters of the heart play out in the public eye are calling it quits and throwing in the towel on their relationships. Why is it so tough for these couples to stay together? Looking to shed light on the issue, VH1 will once again examine the complicated and often misunderstood world of high-profile relationships with season 4 of  ”Couples Therapy”.

This season is more explosive and dramatic than ever as Dr. Jenn and her staff explore new relationship territory with the series’ first married lesbian couple, and one couple’s relationship is so fragile it breaks just as therapy is getting underway.

This season’s couples include Taylor Armstrong from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and her partner John Bluher, Ghostface from The WuTang Clan and his partner Kelsey Byers, Jon Gosselin from “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ and his partner Liz Jannetta, Sada Bettencourt and Whitney Mixter from “The Real L Word”, and finally Farrah Abraham from MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom”.”

“Couples Therapy” season 4, episode 5: “Player for Life”  airs Thurs. Jan. 30, 9 p.m. EST, on VH1. Check out a sneak peek of the coming episode below.
