Now that Lauryn Hill is out from her short time behind bars, she’s ready to hit the stage and give fans a performance. The former Fugees front woman announced that she will be performing two shows at the end of this month in New York.
According to nydally.com:
“The 38-year-old singer will return to the stage on Thanksgiving Eve at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. This will be Hill’s first performance since beginning her three-month prison stint in a Danbury, CT jail in July for tax evasion. She was released on Oct. 4.
The former Fugees member was given permission to postpone her house arrest in order to commence with tour dates. Her attorney Lou Nathan Hochman confirmed Hill is allowed to tour from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31, according to the court order signed by Judge Madeline Cox Arle.”
The show is designed to be an intimate night between Lauryn and her fans and ticket sales have been selling well so far. As reported by mtv.com:
“The venue is known for its intimate shows and has played host to the likes of The Weeknd and Frank Ocean in recent times. Tickets are on sale now for Lauryn Hill for her 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. show. Ticket prices are $106.60 (including fees).”
