Throughout R&B singer Ne-Yo’s career he’s made a point to value quality over quantity. This pertains to the production of his music and to his overall image as well. Now the Def Jam singer is back with a new song, “Luxurious,” featuring Future. According to vibe.com:
“Ne-Yo and Future team up for a high-class ode to the ladies on their new track ‘Luxurious.’ The crooner begins the ballad with his smooth vocals, before the chorus continues with Future harmonizing in auto-tune ‘Girl, let me show you what you ain’t never seen/ ‘Cause I’m all about realizing expensive dreams.’
“The melodic new tune was produced by Jesse ‘Corporal’ Wilson. While the duo may seem like an unlikely pair, they both recently remixed Ciara’s ‘Body Party.'”
Ne-Yo’s “Luxurious” is a nice, smooth track that shows off his unbelievable writing talents. Future also does a good job of complimenting Ne-Yo’s vocals with his typical auto-tuned melodies. There’s no word if this new track will be a part of a new Ne-Yo album. It has been a year since the artist has released a one, so this is possibly the first of a many tracks to come.
