Jadakiss was one of the standout rappers of the ’90s, but it’s been awhile since he’s released a major record. The Lox artist has been working on a new project, but there’s still no official release date. However that doesn’t mean that he has not been releasing new music. Kiss has appeared on a few remixes of late, and now we have his latest offering. Kiss, along with Ted Smooth, took over the remix of “Love & Hip-Hop” star K. Michelle’s new song “V.S.O.P.” According to missinfo.tv:
“After flipping Drake and Jay Z’s ‘Pound Cake’ into ‘Hood Cake”’with his LOX partners-in-rhyme last month, Jadakiss returns on his solo dolo to remix K.Michelle’s ‘V.S.O.P.’ With Ted Smooth stripping down the orchestral production while adding extra punch to the drums, Al Qaeda Jada compliments the sprinkling keys with those quintessentially raspy street rhymes.”
Jadakiss’ new album, “Top 5 Dead Or Alive,” will hopefully be released before the end of the year. With artists like Wale and Pusha T swinging the pendulum back to more traditional rap, now might be the best time for Jadakiss’ return.
Until then, check out the K. Michelle and Jadakiss “V.S.O.P.” remix below.
