In celebration of the release of his first book, “The Wealth Of My Mother’s Wisdom,” E! News co-host Terrence Jenkins teamed up with Disney Dreamers Academy to treat 100 single mothers and their children to brunch and a day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
On Saturday, Jenkins was side-by-side with his mother, Lisa Gonzalez, and “Baggage Claim” co-star Lauren London at the event.
The book, which is available at bookstores everywhere on October 1st, chronicles Jenkins’ childhood; being raised by his strong, single mother, Lisa; and his rise to success amid adversity and obstacles.
His story serves as a shining example that anything is possible with determination and preparation. It was the lessons learned from his mother that helped make him a man—lessons about sacrifice, courage, loyalty, dreams and perseverance. Through her words and her actions, Gonzalez led Terrence down the right path to success. Jenkins offers a positive, powerful message: with a strong family bond, the possibilities are endless.
