Brandy Ready to Strut Back to the Top After Radio One Visits

Brandy is striding back  to the top of her music game with the same toned legs, but an edgier style. The R&B singer has a schedule full of  big performances coming up that she dished about while sitting down with Radio One for two interviews.

It’s been awhile since Brandy has released chart-topping singles and addicting new tracks, but it looks like Ray J’s sister is ready to get back into the swing of things.

Brandy sashayed into Radio One studios over the weekend, flaunting her gorgeous legs in a classic black dress, after making her first appearance in leather shorts. All smiles as she made her way into the studios, she certainly has reasons to beam.

Brandy has a big performance coming up at the O2 Arena, and is rumored to be joining a huge fan of hers, Jessie J, at the iTunes Festival.

With so much going on, it’s no surprise that Radio One didn’t want to settle for just one appearance from the petite songstress.

Her first appearance was on Friday, where she donned an edgy ensemble that Rihanna would probably steal from her closet if she could.

Brandy slipped into black leather shorts, a faux-fur black and white jacket along with a printed t-shirt and some chunky high-heeled ankle boots.

She kept the accessories to a minimum, which was a good decision considering how much was already going on with the outfit and the sultry, smoky eye makeup. Although the look may have appeared a bit much at first, on second glance, it was an edgy, trendy look.

During her second appearance, Brandy had a complete style switch, slipping into a simple black dress a pop of color—bright orange pumps and a matching handbag. She rocked the same heavy eye make up but with such a simple outfit it worked out perfectly.

The “Have You Ever” singer will be teaming up with the UK pop star Jessie J on the track “Conquer the World” which is why fans are expecting to see the ladies take the stage together at the iTunes Festival on Monday.

In addition to helping Brandy grab a more current, trendy audience it would also make Jessie J’s day to share the stage with someone she’s admired for quite some time.

“I am so honored that she sang something I wrote with Claude,” Jessie J told Digital Spy as she gushed about Brandy. “I’m over the moon, so I just hope it gets the attention it deserves.”

She went on to say that she is a huge Brandy fan which makes the collaboration all the more special.
