Singer Jill Scott let her celebrity crushes slip recently while on the promotional trail for her latest film “Baggage Claim.“ The Golden singer visited Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds in New York where she dished on topics including her beef with singer Erykah Badu, her latest film, and the humble beginnings of her illustrious music career.
According to BET.com,
“Rosenberg and Cipha had praised Scott for her many talents and inquired about whether or not she’s considered becoming a DJ (like Erykah Badu and several other singers have). She said ‘no’ but Rosenberg, a bit perturbed by the trend, mentioned that A$AP Rocky may be dabbling in it, too. Cipha said he’s OK with that because ‘he’s hip-hop,’ to which Scott replied, ‘and beautiful’ (with a bat of her eyelashes).
“She then adds Future to her list of attractive hip-hoppers. ‘And Future,’ she said, ‘He looks like somebody that was carved out of some kind of black stone… He’s stunning.'”
When not gushing about her crushes in hip-hop, Scott is expected in the studio to complete her sixth studio album to be released later this year.
