With only a few days left before the release of his second studio album “B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time” rapper 2 Chainz dropped some new music for his fans. Chainz’s “I Do It” features Young Money bosses Drake and Lil Wayne. The track is a 6-minute epic recording of 2 Chainz, Drizzy and Wayne trading verses. According to vibe.com:
“The cover art for 2 Chainz’s single ‘I Do It’ is enough to grab your attention for the song’s entire six minutes. Tity Boi links with YMCMB on the B.O.A.T.S 2: Me Timetrack. Over D. Rich and Wonder Arillo production, Tauheed trades versus with Drake and Lil Wayne before ending things off with a soulful gospel choir.
“Notable lines from the track include Drake’s New Edition shout-out: ‘Drank in my cup, hope this sh*t don’t spill/Pull up in the new edition and that’s word to Johnny Gill.’ Lil Wayne delivers his usual sex raps: ‘Tell ’em come to the crib and do them both, double dribble/ I’m colder than a hospital, she love the d**k that I give her.” With a little help from his collaborators, 2 Chainz hops on the bandwagon: ‘Do a drive by while you’re riding on your skateboard/ They ain’t even know it/ Have Drake sing a song just to get her p***y wet/ Then I take her to the crib/ Man f**k that b**ch right on the step.'”
“B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time” is scheduled to be released September 10, two days before 2 Chainz’s birthday. Although it must be nice to celebrate the release of a new record and a birthday on the same week, things haven’t been all good for the Atlanta rapper recently, who may be facing drug and gun charges from a run-in with the police on his tour bus a few weeks ago.
