Big Sean Brings out Drake and Nicki Minaj in Detroit

With his sophomore album “Hall Of Fame” released on Tuesday, Big Sean has had a really hectic week promoting the album that was capped off on Saturday in his hometown Detroit. Sean performed at Detroit’s DTE Energy Music Theatre for two hours, but it was the end of the show that was most epic. Big Sean surprised his home crowd by bringing out Cash Money label mates Drake and Nicki Minaj. According to missinfo.tv:

“The biggest surprises came from two stars out of the YMCMB camp. After rocking side-by-side earlier this summer at the OVO Festival, Drake returned the favor as he appeared to his collaboration with Big Sean ‘All Me.’ Toronto’s own continued on with a medley of “No New Friends,” ‘Started From the Bottom,’ and his remix verse on “Versace.” Big Sean followed that up with Nicki Minaj, who made her second surprise appearance this weekend, performing ‘Dance (A$$)’ and for the first-time ever her Hall of Fame feature with Sean M.I.L.F.”

Both Nicki and Drake showed love for Big Sean stating how genuine the Detroit rapper is, and that’s why they came out to help make the show special.

“I’m going to tell you like this: I grew up in Toronto, Canada and used to go to Windsor, Ontario every motherf***ing summer, and if you were lucky you got to cross the border and go to Detroit. I used to pick my dad up at the Greyhound station in Detroit; so Detroit I so much f**kinglove for y’all!” Drake told the crowd.

Nicki followed that by saying:

“Listen, I want to say that I’ve never performed, I’ve never come to a Big Sean show. But this guy be one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met in the business. And I thank you guys for coming out tonight to support him. He’s one of those n*ggas that really is who he says he is.”
