Beyonce Invites New Rapper Iggy Azalea to Open Australian Leg of ‘The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’

Australian born rapper Iggy Azalea has yet to release a full studio album, but she can add touring with Beyonce to her list of major accomplishments.

Beyonce invited the 21-year-old rapper to open the Australian leg of her “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” which begins October 17th and runs through November 9th.

The “Murda Bizness” rapper shared the exciting news on Twitter in a series of tweets:

“I’m going on tour… With Beyonce!

“That was my special news for Australia! Can’t wait to join this tour! thankyou so much to everyone for supporting me! and thanks Beyonce!

“And no, I’m not doing sideshows while I’m there. Sorry guys! but I can’t wait, night!!.

In response to her critics, Azalea added:

“If someones good news, that doesn’t even effect your life, makes you mad. I honestly feel sorry for you! I’m celebrating!”

Beyonce featured another up-and-coming artist, R&B singer Luke James on the American leg of her tour.
