Chris Brown Nightclub Assault Accuser Moves Ahead With Lawsuit

Chris Brown is not having a good week. The “Fine China” singer has found himself in more legal hot water after a woman has accused him of shoving her to the ground at a nightclub in June.

Deanna Gines made her initial claims to gossip site TMZ.comstating she was in the VIP section of Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, where Brown was performing, when  he shoved her to the ground—causing her to sustain a  knee injury. Gines filed a police report at the time, but reportedly only wanted an apology from Brown. According to TMZ, an apology never came.

Brown’s rep Nicole Perna told TMZ:

“I’m unaware of the incident, as is Chris’ lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense.”

Gines’ story lost more steam after the incident when the club owner sided with Brown, according to TMZ.

“Based on the information which we have gathered from our security company, mall security, and other party goers which were at HEAT on Saturday night; It is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is false.”

On Wednesday Gines filed a lawsuit alleging battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Meanwhile, Brown is fighting to stay out of jail after a judge ruled that he violated his probation in connection with a hit-and-run charge.
