Scottie Pippen is being sued for $4 million by a man who claims that the former NBA star “brutally” attacked him.
Camran Shafighi,49, a luxury car business owner, claims he suffers from headaches, nausea, breathing difficulties and other ongoing medical issues after an encounter with Pippen.
The altercation happened when Shafighi requested a picture for the 12-year-old son of his girlfriend.
Lee Boyd, Shafighi’s attorney, says the lawsuit seeks compensation for the medical problems, in addition to money lost because Shafighi is unable to run his business.
At one point, deputies were looking for Pippen for a possible arrest. But Pippen, who is represented by attorney Mark Geragos, voluntarily spoke to investigators and was allowed to leave without being arrested.
