Off The Market: Robert Griffin III Ties Knot Over the Weekend

Washington Redskins quarterback, Robert Griffin III, married his college sweetheart, Rebecca Liddicoat over this past weekend. On Saturday, the star athelete tied the knot in Denver, which is Liddicoat’s hometown.

The ceremony took place at the Denver Four Seasons, with a pastor from Griffin’s hometown of Copperas Cove, Texas. The two were engaged in October 2010, after meeting at Baylor University, where Griffin excelled as a quarterback and track star.

Guests at the wedding included, Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan, owner Daniel Snyder, Griffin’s old coach from Baylor University Art Biles, and several NFL players.

Griffin won the quarterback job for the Washington Redskins, where he was awarded the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year Award and led the team to their first division title in more than ten years.

Unfortunately, he is currently battling back from an ACL knee injury that forced him out of a Redskin’s playoff game last year. More details on his knee injury coming soon.
