Audio of a 911 call related to Paris Jackson‘s alleged suicide attempt has leaked online.
Gossip website TMZ has obtained audio of the emergency call placed from local police in Lost Hills, California, to Los Angeles County Fire Department, informing them the late Michael Jackson’s 15-year-old daughter had overdosed on over-the-counter pills and ”cut her arm.”
In the call, the officer tells the fire department a female in Calabasas, California – where Paris lives with her guardian, grandmother Katherine Jackson and brothers Prince, 16, and 11-year-old Blanket – had ”OD’d on 20 Motrin [a common brand of ibuprofen] and cut her arm with a kitchen knife.”
The respondent asked whether the subject was ”awake and breathing,” the police official replied: ”I think so. Yes.”
Paris was rushed to hospital at around 2 a.m. on June 5 after allegedly cutting her wrists. She has remained under medical care since. She was transferred to UCLA Medical Center after she was kept under a 72-hour psychiatric watch last week.
Following the incident, Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ordered an investigation into the welfare of the troubled teenager, which will include an evaluation of the custody arrangement between Katherine Jackson, 83, and Paris’ cousin, T.J. Jackson, who share custody of the three children.
