Beyonce To Perform at Michelle Obama’s 50th Birthday Bash

First Lady Michelle Obama turns 50 in 10 months, which means that planning has already begun for a big White House bash that sources say is slated to include performances by British sensation Adelele and one of FLOTUS’s favorites, Beyonce.

The birthday party is sure to be packed with bold-face names, as well as family and friends of the First Lady from her hometown of Chicago. Obama turns 50 on Jan. 17, 2014.

“America’s first lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyoncé, she has asked them both to sing,” an unnamed source tells U.K.’s The Daily Mail. “Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the first lady and her friends.”

Beyonce memorably performed at President Obama’s inauguration—and the question of whether she really sang or lip-synched amazingly became the biggest news story in the country for days after the event.  But Beyonce and the First Lady have been carrying on a long distance love affair for quite some time now, with Beyonce first releasing a letter she wrote about how the First lady inspires her, and then Mrs. Obama telling People that if she could be one celebrity, it would be Beyonce. This is called a mutual admiration society. Perhaps the society was born on inauguration night, when Beyonce sang “At Last” while Michelle and Barack danced and gazed into each other’s eyes.

Beyonce and the First lady also have something else in common—they are both among the celebrities who had personal information posted on the Internet by hackers. The FBI and Los Angeles Police Department are investigating hackers who posted the personal information of more than a dozen government officials and celebrities, including The First Lady, Vice President Joe Biden, rap entrepreneur Jay-Z, Beyonce and TV personality Kim Kardashian.

Information including social security numbers, personal phone numbers and credit reports were posted to a website using the suffix “.su,” formally belonging to the Soviet Union.

FBI Director Robert Mueller was among those listed in the hacked postings, and he confirmed that the bureau was looking into the source. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck was also a victim.

“We’ll take steps to find out who did this, and if they’re within the boundaries of the United States, we’ll prosecute them,” Beck said.

The site allegedly posted the first lady’s credit report, social security number, phone numbers, banking details and store cards.  “Blame your husband. We still love you, Michelle,” it stated.
