Matt Lauer is finally opening up at Ann Curry’s departure from the Today Show and you probably guessed, he is pretty much just stating the obvious.
Today Show viewers were furious when they discovered Ann Curry would be leaving the show because it was easy to tell that something fishy was going on. Curry’s tears weren’t just tears of sadness because she was leaving her talk show family behind, there was clearly something troubling her when she made her last appearance on the show.
After rejecting a hug from Matt Lauer on air, rumors began swirling that he was the one behind Curry’s exit.
He is finally talking about the Ann Curry exit fiasco and other sources are stepping forward to clear his name of being the reason behind Ann’s rumored firing.
“I don’t think the show and the network handled the transition well,” Lauer told the Daily Beast. “You don’t have to be Einstein to know that. It clearly did not help us. We were seen as a family, and we didn’t handle a family matter well.”
Fans still want to know what really happened that forced Curry to leave the show (or be fired) but the former president of NBC is insisting that it had nothing to do with Lauer.
“When Matt was informed that we had made this decision, his good counsel was to go slow, to take care of Ann, and to do the right things,” Capus told the Huffington Post. “He was quietly and publicly a supporter of Ann’s throughout the entire process. It is unfair that Matt has shouldered an undue amount of blame for a decision he disagreed with.”
What exactly happened with Ann is still fishy and NBC’s refusal to release her from her contract back in January certainly didn’t help the networks reputation.
Kenya Moore Channels Her Inner Beyonce for Music Video Debut
No matter how much you hate on the woman you have to admit – Kenya Moore sure knows how to make money off her ridiculous antics.
The reality star is impossible to get rid of and has become one of the most talked about cast members of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” since NeNe Leakes made her appearance on “Glee.”
Now she has coined the phrase “Gone with the Wind fabulous” and is even using it to break in the music industry? Not exactly… well at least we hope not.
Kenya has admitted on several occasions that her musical rendition of her famous phrase was just for laughs, but that didn’t stop her from making a music video for the song.
She seems to capitalize on the fact that she swears she looks like Beyonce by putting on her own version of the “Single Ladies” video.
Other than that, she found yet another way to diss poor old Walter. A very unattractive and strange version of Walter is seen reading a magazine called “Douche Bag” and works for a company known only as “Lil Dicks.”
What a creative mind you have Kenya.
The video is even more proof that the drama starting former pageant queen is nothing short of a hot mess, but in case you’re still interested (or just want a good laugh) you can still check out the video below.
