Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Miraval Wine Flies Off Shelves

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie have gone into the wine business and by the looks of it thusfar, the Bradgelina duo are going to be very successful.

The wine, Miraval Rose 2012, is a joint wine venture with Marc Perrin, and was produced at the Hollywood couple’s southern French estate of Chateau Miraval property. There is also a special bonus that may help the sales, the back label of each bottle reads “bottled by Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.”

6,000 bottles of the Miraval Rose 2012 were put on sale online today, and according to the Perrin family spokesman, the wine were bought within five short hours. The product was packaged as a six-bottle case and sold for $139.

“This is a magical place that we traverse from one end to the other to discover exceptional plots,” Marc Perrin said of the valley location that the 2012 vintage comes from. “Perrin The valley, property of the château, offers an unmatched eco-system and gives the wines a unique style in terms of freshness and elegance.”

Later this month, the wine will go on sale to restaurants and wholesalers.
