Jay-Z Signs Kylie Minogue, Arrives in L.A. with Beyonce for Grammy's

Jay-Z has signed Kylie Minogue to his Roc Nation label just days before he jetted out to L.A with wife Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy to prepare for the Grammys.

Jay-Z has a knack for singing some serious undiscovered talent, and his latest addition may be his most surprising one yet. Mr. Carter signed an artist who hasn’t really had much success in America although she is a popular songstress in Europe and Australia.

Kylie Minogue has signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation although Parlophone will still be in control of releasing the pop star’s music.

The Australian songstress has been in the music business for 25 years and completed her 12th studio album. While she isn’t really known for much of an American presence, the US trade paper Billboard did announce that Jay-Z’s new artist would be releasing a single “soon.”

Finding a new home for management came just in time for the petite beauty who parted ways with the British label EMI last year after Universal took over the company.

Kylie joins an extensive list of artists who are signed under Roc Nation including Rihanna, Rita Ora, MIA, and recently hip hop producer Timbaland.

“Roc Nation would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the family,” the label said in a statement. “She has released over 50 hit singles worldwide, including the Grammy-winning Come Into my World, and has sold more than 68 million albums worldwide. Needles to say, we’re excited to have Kylie join the Roc fam.”

Meanwhile Kylie also expressed her excitement to call Roc Nation her new home via Twitter.

“Kisses from my new home rocnation,” she tweeted.

Mr. Carter has a thing for surrounding himself with beautiful ladies and it seems like one lady in his life was tired of hiding behind closed doors – or should we say blankets.

Blue Ivy is getting older now and throwing a small blanket over her to hide her from the spying eye of the paparazzi won’t work much longer.

Beyonce’s baby grabbed a gold of the gray blanket and pushed it aside to get a peak at the all the commotion when her parents brought her along for lunch out in L.A.

HOV was busy carrying his daughter’s bottle when the 1-year-old managed to move the blanket out of her way. Although she never revealed her entire face, the cameras were able to snap a few pics of the baby’s eyes peaking out at the array of flashing lights.

The cameras were supposed to be focusing on Queen Bey’s upcoming appearance at the Grammys on Sunday, but Blue decided it was her turn to make a special appearance.

It didn’t last long however as she eventually returned to her shaded hiding place as she was placed inside the luxury SUV along with her megastar mommy and daddy who are both up for nominations at the Grammys.

While the 13-month-old Beyonce baby likely won’t attend the Grammys in person herself, she will likely be enjoying seeing some new shiny objects come home.

Baddie Bey is up for best traditional R&B performance with her catchy tune “Love On Top” while her 43-year-old husband has earned nominations for best rap performance, best rap song, best rap/sung collaboration, and best short form music video.

After the award show, Mrs. Carter won’t have much time to rest as she will be preparing to embark on her Mrs. Carter Show world tour which kicks in April.

The first show will go down in Europe, which means Beyonce’s baby will be traveling over seas once again although she isn’t really old enough to tell the difference between being the U.S or being in Europe. Either way, we’re sure she’ll appreciate it much more the older she gets.

As she grows older however, mommy Beyonce is still proving to be a playful spirit at heart as she posted a silly photo with her family and Destiny’s Child.

The photo was hashtagged #myclique and showed Beyonce, her mother Tina, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Bey’s cousin Angie all striking their best thug poses.

The Instagram pic is also proof that Beyonce’s publicist is the only one who feels some type of way about Mrs. Carter’s “unflattering” Super Bowl pics because Beyonce herself didn’t hesitate to share the photo of her scrunching her face up and having a good time.
