Karrueche Tran is doing her best to stay relevant on her own. However, having been downgraded from girlfriend to sidepiece by Chris Brown seems to be the one thing that generates any significant interest in the tiny ‘self-proclaimed’ model. Nevertheless, Karrueche landed a sexy modeling job in Rolling Out magazine as well as a pretty one-sided interview with Tiny’s best friend Shekinah. Sadly, Shekinah did most of the talking. However, when she asked Tran if Brown “knows he’s wrong,” his ex-girlreind responded by saying, “yeah, I mean…he knows he’s wrong.”
Wrong for what, exactly, Karrueche doesn’t say. However, for all his wrong, the beauty proclaims that they were best friends prior to dating and will remain friends after. Even though he made the decision to publicly dump Tran for his famous ex after months of cheating speculation between the two; Tran is committed to their friendship. Yes. Chris Brown sounds like a great friend and Tran sounds like a smart girl.
Anyhow, the Rolling Out photos feature a partially nude Karrueche in a variety of poses. The photo shoot included other pictures that showed her clothed in a 3/4 length dress with a church lady style hat and…of course, in lingerie. Although she’s a pretty girl, perhaps a better question for Shekinah to have asked Ms. Tran is she choose to pose topless in order to further compete with Rihanna. However, by most assessments, there is no competition in that department because Rihanna has some of the hottest topless and sexy photos…perhaps ever.
Karrueche’s photos? Meh.
Digressing…
Meanwhile somewhere in L.A., Karrueche partied with her Mr. Wrong ex-boyfriend Chris Brown during a birthday party for ‘Basketball Wives L.A.’ star Draya. The funny thing is that Draya has been romantically linked to Brown as well. It seems as if Tran will stop at nothing to be “friends” with her ex; even if it means hanging out with other women he’s chopped down. Still…it’s pretty doubtful that you’ll ever see Rihanna welcome Tran with open arms at any shindig she’s throwing.
Speaking of Rihanna, Tran took to the airwaves for her first radio interview (ever) with Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5. Although she put on the “I’m a private person” front, she was mighty comfortable talking about everything from sexual positions to strip clubs. One rumor that the emerging clothing designer was willing to dispel was being the creator of the current anti-Rihanna t-shirts. The t-shirts in question feature a picture of Karrueche with the words “Hi Rihanna” on the front with “Rihanna” crossed out and replaced with “Karrueche.”
Sigh…really?
‘The Kill” clothing designer says the design is pretty lame (agreed) and denies having anything to do with it personally or professionally. We’d like to believe her but she has been snapped in a picture with someone wearing that exact shirt. That leaves the question; if not her, then who?
Hmmm…perhaps Karrueche’s “fans” had something to do with the t-shirts. If so, are some of those fans planning to wear them in public? And does she plan to take pictures with said fans? Because that would be pretty lame.
