After all the recent speculations, Adult Swim has renewed the funny animated series Black Dynamite, for a second season. The first season of the series finished up on September 23rd and many wonder if this show would get another season.
Black Dynamite’s first season premiered in July in Adult Swim’s Sunday 11:30 PM time period. In that slot, the series won among adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24 and also matched as the No. 2 new series launch on Adult Swim in 2012 among adults 18-34. According to Deadline, Black Dynamite helped Adult Swim finish 2012 “ranked No. 1 among all basic cable networks for total Day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-49, and men 18-34. Adult Swim also ranks No. 1 in primetime among adults 18-24, up +5% from last year.”
Black Dynamite, the animated series, is based on the 2009 film about the character, ex-CIA agent, and full-time ladies man Black Dynamite. The show stars the voices of most of the actors who were in the movie, such as, Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley and Byron Minns…
