Newlyweds Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcomed their new son Livingston Alves into the world early Friday morning.
The McConaughey family is growing and growing as the couple had their third child together shortly after getting married in their Austin, Texas home back in June.
The 43-year-old actor has already spilled the beans about what they have decided to name their adorable bouncing baby boy.
“Camila Alves gave birth to our third child yesterday morning,” Matthew wrote on his Whosay page Saturday night. “Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43 a.m. on 12.28.12.”
The father of three revealed that his little boy weighed in at 9 lbs and was 21 inches.
“Bless up and thank you for your well wishes,” he continued.
Matthew’s post cleared up several rumors that suggested Camila gave birth a little girl rather than a baby boy.
The couple also has a 4-year-old son named Levi and a 3-year-old girl named Vida.
It seems like little Livingston is nothing short of a dream come true for the newlyweds who revealed on their wedding weekend that all they wanted was “more family.”
Matthew and Camila had been together for a whopping six years before they even decided to finally tit he knot this year. In other words, they had no problem being happy parents before being husband and wife; which isn’t unusual in Hollywood (just look Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick).
The wedding ceremony was small and personal as guests stayed in tents sprawled out on McConaughey’s huge property. The number of guests remained in the dozens since the wedding was after all taking place inside the couples Texas home.
The wedding came as no surprise after the couple has been together for so long and Matthew was constantly referring to his Brazilian model girlfriend as “the love of my life.”
