Katt Williams has been arrested and jailed for child endangerment on Friday in Los Angeles and it seems like this time he won’t be able to easily wiggle his way out of this mess.
It has certainly been a rough year for Katt and we’re pretty sure he’s made it a tiring year for law enforcements as well.
From slapping a Target employee to leading a high speed chase down a sidewalk on a motorized vehicle, Williams has been getting involved in some interesting legal troubles.
This time, however, he seems to have taken things way too far.
The self-proclaimed retired comedian was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of felony child endangerment and remains in custody.
It’s bad enough to danger the lives of pedestrians while leading police on a high speed chase; but it’s unforgivable to danger the lives of innocent children.
The arrest reportedly happened around 8:30 Friday morning just as tabloids got a hold of information regarding Katt’s $4 million tax lien.
Many details involving Katt Williams arrest haven’t been revealed, which is the usual case when it comes to legal matters involving children, but TMZ has learned that the comedian supposedly had several guns and illegal drugs in the home with his four children.
“An investigation from the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services concluded there were numerous guns and illegal drugs in the house that created a safety hazard for the kids,” TMZ reported.
Police has taken the children and placed them in protective custody while they are still holding Katt on $100,000 bail.
The former rapper’s attorney, Thomas McAllister, had no comment at this time.
As 2012 comes to a close, Williams has tacked on several parking infractions, public disturbances, and gun violations to his record.
One can only hope that 2013 will bring the pint sized “Norbit” actor better luck.
