Kevin Federline’s brother Christopher has come forward with a shocking allegation, claiming he is the “true father” of Britney Spears’s son Sean Preston.
Spears was married to Kevin Federline from 2004-2006, during which time she gave birth to Sean Preston and another son, Jayden James.
Christopher Federline has filed a lawsuit against Britney containing a myriad of insane claims in addition to the paternity allegation.
In the court papers, Christopher accuses Spears of stealing his Capital One credit card after finding it on Kevin’s coffee table while stopping by to pick up Sean Preston and Jayden James. Christopher further claims Spears then used the credit card to buy $4,569.02 worth of Archie and Betty Boop comics, as well as issues of Mad Magazine.
The credit card allegation especially seems ludicrous, given the fact that Spears was the highest paid female musician of 2012, according to an earnings report released by Forbes. Spears raked in over $58 million in 2012, so she definitely has no reason to steal her ex husband’s brother’s credit card.
Even though the allegations seem unlikely, it has been a stressful holiday season for Spears on the rumor front. Reports of a split with fiance Jason Trawick made the rounds last week. A source told Inquisitr.com, “Britney and Jason had planned to get married at the end of December, but they have been fighting non-stop so the wedding has now been called off. They are telling their friends it’s being postponed, but they will probably never make it down the aisle. Britney doesn’t think Jason is any fun and resents him because he acts more like a second father than a romantic partner, or equal.”
Apparently, the feelings go both ways because Trawick feels “like he is Britney’s babysitter” and can’t imagine himself in that role for the rest of his life.
While Spears has certainly brought buzz to X Factor, her subdued performance, at times feeling robotic and forced, begs the question of whether she will be offered a salary that high again. X Factor has seen a ratings increase, but not a leap. As Spears was considered an investment to boost ratings, it remains unclear whether she will be asked back.
Earlier this year, a reporter asked Spears if she would be interested in a second season (X Factor’s third overall) and she replied “definitely,” yet the show has made no formal announcement.
