Kevin Hart Lands Role Opposite Will Ferrell In Comedy 'Get Hard'

Kevin Hart is a very busy man right now. Since his hit stand-up comedy tour Laugh At My Pain and his breakout role in Think Like A Man, the actors/comedians has been landing new roles left and right.

Warner Bros has recently hired Hart to co-star in an upcoming comedy, Get Hard, opposite Will Ferrell. According to the movie report, in Get Hard, “Ferrell will play a rich, effete investment banker who is sentenced to a maximum security prison for a crime he didn’t commit. 30 days before he begins his sentence, he hires a “streetwise guy”(Hart) to prep him/toughen him up for his time in prison – hence the title.”

Comedy Central’s Key & Peele executive producers, Ian Roberts & Jay Martel, will write the script and Gary Sanchez will produce.

Besides Get Hard, Hart will star in upcoming film Grudge Match, alongside veterans Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone, in which he’ll play a fight promoter who convince the older men to return to the ring. The actor will also star in BET’s House Husbands, the buddy comedy Valet Guys alongside Seth Rogen and the remake of About Last Night.
