Chris Brown has made quite the splash with his return to Twitter. After his Jenny Johnson Twitter fight fiasco last week, Brown took some time off from Twitter. For those hoping that his PR team would indefinitely suspend his Twitter access to work on rebuilding his image, sorry to report that he’s back.
One of Brown’s first tweets since returning to Twitter was an Instagram picture of him and Rihanna, clad in sexy lingerie and a cameo blanket, in a 420 induced cloud. Some have speculated that the picture may have been photoshopped, but with Rihanna tweeting pictures of them together in suggestive situations lately, it seems as if the pair has done everything but verbally confirm their second try at a relationship.
The 24-year old pop star deleted his Twitter account last week after a particularly nasty verbal altercation with comedian Jenny Johnson where he tweeted such gems as, “Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d— HOE,” and “Let me leave this bitch alone … it’s good to know my worth by listening to a bitch that is worthless! #win #bushpigswag.” After receiving death threats by Team Beezy, Johnson wrote an essay on GQ’s website saying: “I won’t say I regret what I did, but I will say I have learned from it,” she wrote. “I didn’t want attention from all of this.” I’d say that trolling someone like she did Brown for two years and baiting him into a Twitter fight isn’t exactly a move that won’t garner attention.
Outside of the picture of him and Rihanna, Brown’s newly launched Twitter page contains a single, fairly normal message, reading: “Keep it here for all things Chris Brown, updates from the tour and more … #CarpeDiem.” Carpe Diem is the name of the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer’s tour; the same tour that Rihanna has been spotted with him on. Additionally, the singer recently gave an interview to XXL magazine after declaring earlier this year that he would be taking a break from interviews. Brown opened up about everything from the Drake incident, “A lot of people wanna know about the whole situation with me, Drake and Meek Mill. At the end of the day, I’m me, they’re them;” to his current relationship status, “Love is something I am still learning. It’s just an obstacle that I haven’t yet mastered. I think that’s my biggest hurdle in life.”
Speaking of love, last week a source close to Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran, reported that was waiting for him to return to LA from his European tour. There have been claims that Tran has hopes of not only a reunion between the pair, but a baby for the kaput couple as well. However, as of late, any hope that Tran has of reuniting with him has to be fading. With antics like matching Rolex watches, Instagram photos of Chris Brown and Rihanna in compromising situations in the same hotel room, and Rihanna on tour with him; Tran should gracefully bow out, if she hasn’t already done so. I guess we will all just have to tune into the singer’s revamped Twitter page to see what happens with Chris Brown, Karrueche, Rihanna or anyone else for that matter.
