Khloe Kardashian Offers Mario Lopez Wedding Advice

Khloe Kardashian gave her X-Factor co-host, Mario Lopez, wedding advice as he admitted that he was nervous about the big day.

Lopez revealed that he has talked about the wedding with his hosting partner all the time during rehearsals for the X-Factor, and eventually he got some pretty good advice out of Lamar Odom’s wife.

“We talk during rehearsals and commercial breaks, and he’s like, ‘What time did you cut the cake?’,” The Kardashian sister told People. “I’m like, ‘I don’t know, I was so wasted at my wedding.’”

Despite having one too many drinks at her own wedding, she did remember one thing that she personally felt was very important to do – leave the day job at home and don’t focus too much on being the host of the wedding.

“You and your partner should take a few minutes to yourselves and just watch the whole thing form the audience,” she continued. “[My husband] Lamar and I will now talk about those little moments, because you get pulled away from each other. You shouldn’t spend your whole wedding not with each other.”

Well this “sidekick” is likely to spend most of the wedding by his wife’s side as they party it up by the beach in Mexico.

“I’m just a sidekick in it,” Mario said in reference to the televised special of the wedding that will air on TLC. “My fiancée is the star.”

The groom-to-be also admitted that his guests would still be a major concern because he wants everyone to have a great time.

“I just want the wedding itself to be fun, just a blast, everybody to party and have fun and to go all night,” he said.

Well the couple definitely picked the perfect place for a beach side bash.

Mario and Courtney Mazza will tie the knot at “close pal Joe Francis’s gorgeous Casa Aramara villa in Punta Mita, Mexico.”

All guests will be required to wear casual white beach attire for the all white affair and will be served a variety of yummy dishes and drinks.

The pre-wedding party will feature a mariachi band and a DJ and “there will be fireworks on the beach too!”

As much as the 39-year-old is ready to have fun on his wedding day, he wants the actual exchange of vows to be a traditional ceremony.

The X-Factor co-host is flying in a Catholic Priest for the wedding and the couple plans on exchanging vows before sunset so the party can start as it gets dark.

As if a wedding during sunset wasn’t beautiful enough, they have an adorable flower girl who is sure to steal some of their spot light.

Lopez and Mazza’s 2-year-old daughter, Gia, will be the flower girl while the Extra host’s nieces assist the adorable tyke as she walks down the aisle.

The future of this couple is extremely bright as despite all the stress that comes along with planning a wedding, they have already mastered how to compromise.

While Courtney really wanted chocolate cake, her husband has his mind set on red velvet. To settle the issue, the cake will have alternating layers of chocolate and red velvet and be topped with vanilla frosting.

And who will be making this delicious master piece? The Latin lovers have called on the help of TLC’s Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.

The couple will tie the knot on December 1 but the well anticipated televised special won’t air until December 8 at 8pm ET.
