Katt Williams Sued For Nonperformance During Comedy Show – Video

Katt Williams has been sued after having a breakdown on stage that caused him to end the show early after threatening several of the audience members in Oakland, Calif.

Williams’ show on November 16 was far from what audience members expected.

The class action lawsuit, filed by Brian Herline on behalf of all attendees of the show, claims that the “Friday After Next” actor “confronted a heckler, took his clothes off, and attempted to fight at least three audience members.”

After allegedly jumping off the stage to approach the hecklers, Katt was carried away by his own security and failed to come back to complete the comedy show that some attendees paid almost $100 for.

Herline is asking for the comedian to pay for unspecified damages after his “non-performance.” In other words, the people didn’t get a show and they want their money back for it.

“Williams failed to perform,” Herline stated in the lawsuit. “The audience members deserve their money back. Therefore, Plaintiff brings this action on behalf of himself individually and on behalf of all others who paid money for a show and got nothing but Katt Williams’s non-performance.”

TMZ reported that the show started with Katt delivering several rambling monologues which is when the heckler stepped in.

Erick Lucero was working as a security guard that night and claims that the meltdown was one of the “weirdest” things he’s ever seen.

Close friends of the comedian claim that his string of strange behavior is caused by cocaine.

Audience members did admit that the actor was sweating profusely while on stage and the following actions did seem to line up with how someone might act if they were on the highly addictive drug.

In fact, this isn’t even the first time that Katt has been showing some strange behaviors lately.

Back in October, the 39-year-old entertainer got into a violent dispute with his female assistant Melissa Ishage. According to Ishage, Williams became irate and suddenly began attacking her.

Police were called to the scene, but Katt wasn’t arrested for the violent accusations – although she is suing the comedian turned rapper for $5 million.

Katt’s luck with staying out of jail ran out, however, after he used a bottle to attack someone else at a club earlier this month.

While most audience members and other spectators believe that the meltdown was hard to watch and even a bit “sad” another comedian tried to make a joke out of the matter… needless to say it wasn’t received very well.

After Katt was escorted off stage another comedian came to the mic and opened up with, “That is what happens when you get your dope in Oakland, CA. “

If the comedian’s meltdowns and violent actions are being caused by drugs, it is definitely far from a laughing matter. We can only hope that the First Sunday actor seeks help immediately and hopefully things will return back to normal soon.
