Tons of celebs – including Karrueche Tran, Nicki Minaj, Evelyn Lozada, Disnye’s Bella Thorne, Mario, and many more – were busy giving back to the community this Thanksgiving.
Karrueche Tran took to Venice Beach to give back to the homeless on Thanksgiving and even brought along an army of close friends.
While her ex-boyfriend was spending his holiday in Germany partying with his “friend” Rihanna, the gorgeous model decided to spend her time making an impact in her community.
The 23-year-old was more than excited about giving back to those in need and took to Twitter to express how much the experience meant to her.
“Venice Beach! Giving Back,” she tweeted first as she prepared to get busy helping those in need.
“I’m thankful for being able to get up this AM to help/donate to those who are in need today,” she tweeted later and added some hearts at the end.
Even the hip hop Barbie got in on the fun and decided to revisit her former school in Queens. She teamed up with Hot 97 before heading over to P.S. 45 to give out turkeys and other Thanksgiving related gifts to all the kids.
Another group of celebs joined forces with Los Angeles Mission for the holidays and cooked up some tasty Thanksgiving plates for those in need.
Tatyana Ali looked stunned in her red Los Angles Mission apron and even made her latex gloves look sexy as she served up plate and after plate along side Blair Underwood and Neil Patrick Harris.
Mario was also busy cooking up Thanksgiving dishes and handing them out to those in need. Even “Community” actress Yvette Nicole Brown was busy serving up hot meals with the L.A. Mission.
Perhaps the most shocking celeb face was that of the reality queens from Love and Hip Hop and even some of the Basketball Wives.
The ladies proved that they aren’t all bad when Love and Hip Hop Atlanta starlet Ariane Davis and Jennifer Williams smiled for the camera while they were out and about in Harlem giving out juicy Thanksgiving turkeys with Love and Hip Hop New York’s Olivia.
The former table climbing and punch slinging reality star Evelyn Lozada is making sure she does justice to Iyanla Vanzant’s name – trying to prove that the life coach really did “fix her life.”
Chad Johnson’s ex was also a part of the group of celebrities who were giving back for Thanksgiving and brought along her daughter Shaniece to teach her how important it is to help the community.
“I had such a fulfilling day today a the Los Angeles Mission and I feel so good right now,” Lozada wrote about her experience. “Helping those in need is something that I enjoy the most. I will never forget this moment and I want to thank Shaunie, Shaniece, Alicia, and Jason for a wonderful day!”
Although many of the celeb Thanksgiving helpers could have easily sat at home and enjoyed their own decadent and lavish meals, it was great to see just how many big names came out to make a difference and even encouraged others to do the same.
“I encourage all of you to donate to the LA Mission as they need our help,” Lozada added.
In the midst of Hollywood rumors and gossip, it feels good to realize that despite all the headlines many of the celebs do still have good hearts and good intentions.
